haven't started packing yet

I know, I know, I'm SO behind on packing for our trip but I have had so many other things that needed to be done first -having nothing to do w/ the trip- that I wasn't able to focus on 'the trip' until today!! Yikes!! BUT I'm soooooooo excited. :D

I've been wanting to buy Chris a nice watch -for his most recent promotion- and I thought "what better time to present it to him but for our Hawaii trip (that is due to his performance at work!!) . . . BUT because I am NOT so good at hiding (or keeping) a surprises, hee hee, I came up with a GREAT excuse to give it to him tonight, instead of Sunday (after settling in our hotel). See, if I want him to be able to wear and enjoy it WHILE on our trip, he would have to get it now so he could get it sized before leaving!! RIGHT?! hee hee ;)

So, I gave it to him tonight and I was as excited as a Kid giving out Christmas gifts!!! He loves it -just as I hoped!! I couldn't decide between Seiko and Bulova - I knew I wanted it to have 'some' diamonds and Seiko only offered a watch that had 32 diamonds . . . NOT IN MY BUDGET!! ha ha . . . So, Bulova had something more along the lines of what I was looking for (3 diamods -haha, much less diamonds but still very nice, I thought!). So, this is what I chose for him :D

Aaaaaand . . . I FINALLY did my shopping!!! Woohoo!! I have some really fun, cute, clothes for our trip!! I bought dresses. All I need to buy, well, I still have quite of bit, BUT, I still HAVE to buy an evening gown. how crazy is that?! An evening gown?! For the awards ceremony (where my Hubby will be recognized and receive his award!!!!!), the attire is "Black tie optional" -but for the women, it says "After Five or Evening Gown". So, evening gown it is. :)

so, so far . . . everything is running as smooth as possible . . .

"It's getting late!"

Kryssa woke up from a late nap and was waiting patiently for her peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She happened to realize that it was getting late in the day; so, she asked "Is it getting dark outside?" She went to peek outside to check and replied, "It's getting late! But it's not dark outside yet. It's 29-8-95 'o clock!!"

lol. I repeated it in question and she said "yes, it is." So, then I told her, "yes, it sure is late, huh?" She kept on looking outside and then said, "I'm good at counting numbers when it's getting late outside."

I think it's about time we start learning how to 'tell' time.

So, I must wrap this blog up; it's getting late. It's "29-8-95 'o clock already! Time for dinner.

TTC update

So, I thought I would take some time to share a little about the latest 'ttc' news.

First of all, I want to say "PRAISE GOD that my body finally works!" -as it should, naturally, no fertility drugs to do everything for me. (the results from the surgery are still making it all worth it!) I sure feel like a woman!! lol. So, it's a bitter sweet emotion for us, currently. Here's why: once again, we didn't conceive this past cycle (so, yes, we shed our tears and emotions) -BUT- it's GREAT, Fantastic, absolutely wonderful to see nature taking it's course in my body . . . the very same body that knew nothing about 'womanhood' (natural cycles). ha ha, it had been exactly (to the month) 5 years since my body took care of its self!! wow, right?! although, it seems as though my body does remember how to make all of this soooo horrible! ha! It picked up RIGHT where it left off. Nothing new in that area --it used to be 8 miserable days!! and it seems to be on that same track

Well, I am so thankful that we have been fertility-drug FREE since 2008!! --and it feels Fantabulous!!! :D So, no baby YET But life is still so wonderful: no artificial chemical running through my body (they would give me a serious emotional case of the Coo Coo's!! ha ha), and Hawaii is calling us!! hee hee :D only 6 more days before we leave . . . and Chris might be right; he had been saying we would have a Hawaii baby -lol, TMI, I know! But he actually might be right!! ha ha! We'll just have to wait another . . .
Lilypie 21 - 37 day cycle Ticker

Yes, it might be a little personal --but it's the update. And I know some of you reeeeeeeally wanted to know . . . ;)

Ha! I just did my counting and our 'window' IS 4 out of the 5 days in Hawaii . . . we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe March is our month . . .

10 days, 3 orders, a celebration, THEN a beautiful experience?!

I just realized that we have 10 days until we leave for Hawaii --Exciting, YES! But then I realize that I have three Yum-Yummies! orders in these next 10 days (two due in 4 days and then one due a day or two before we leave!) . . . Yay for business and no biggie, right?

THEN I realize that we haven't bought anything for Hawaii yet . . . we still have to shop and pack . . . not to mention, we are really hoping to make it to a bday celebration the day before we leave. Too much, maybe?!

And on top of that, 10 days doesn't seem like enough time to shop, pack, bake, bake, and bake, pack for Kryssa's 6 days at Grandma and Grandpa's, prepare her: that we're leaving AGAIN (poor thing is still recovering from when we left her to go to Vegas, in July!!)

Wow, it's hard to be excited :(

it all just hit. Once I get the first two orders completed and out of here --maybe there'll be a little more room to celebrate and do my "I'm so excited and I just can't hide it" dance!! lol

Either way, Yay! We're going to Hawaii in 10 days (even if we do have to wake up at 2:45AM to leave our house by 3:30am to be at the airport by 4:00AM (to take a 10 hour trip!!) !!! ha ha) Yay!!

:D

ALOHA ko'u makamaka!!! (hello my friend)

OF COURSE, I HAVE to blog about this.

WE'RE GOING TO HAWAII ! ! ! I'm soooo thankful --it's such a blessing. We will leave Monday, March 3, 2008 and it's "all expense paid"!! How awesome is that?! Oh, Praise God! :D So, we are looking into extending our stay . . . we will try to find a good deal tonight. We're still a little shocked right now.

Chris got home and came upstairs with a bottle of "bubbly" and some champagne glasses (of course, I just took a little sip to toast.) . . . we are soooo celebrating -lol!

So, we get to choose our flight times and activities (one day has a list of activities to choose from -also included!). The itinerary shows a luau, WaMuparty, or gala planned for each night. it's going to be sooooo . . . AMAZING!!

Right now, Chris is filling out all the info for our vacation and we are picking our restaurants, activities, etc. . We are finding out more and MORE wonderful things that are included --I thought that we were only getting one or two 'WaMu' meals a day -including 5 star restaurants, or luau buffets- BUT it turns out that even when we have 'leisure' time for meals (where I thought we would use our own spending money), it's really included with our 'hotel room credit' -we just run up the tab (we have a limit, of course) and WaMu covers it!!!!!! Oh, what a blessing!!

Me, Oh MY . . . I just don't know how many more little wonderful surprises we can handle . . . I mean, the more the merrier. ha ha So, Chris just found out that anyone leaving from Texas -and a couple of other 'lucky' states- have the option of flying in on the 2nd and it's ALL EXPENSE PAID TOO!!!! I don't know how or why -but it's just another little blessing (well, BIG in our eyes) in disguise. :D So, we actually get to get there on the 2nd and it's a totally FREE day (WaMu itinerary wise) -for us to do whatever we want!!

we're counting down now!!

So, instead of leaving on the 3rd . . . it turns out we get to leave as early as March 2nd!!
